Keep diesel fleets ready for deployment as a Diesel Fleet Mechanic with Quarry Hills Excavation and Gravel Ltd. in Brandon, MB.
This qualified mechanic role supports a growing Westman contractor specializing in gravel, sewer and waterworks, and earthworks. Candidates may bring heavy duty, automotive, truck and transport, or agricultural experience. The work covers preventative maintenance, fleet repairs, diagnostics, service records, parts coordination, and safety compliance.
Key Responsibilities:- Inspect and service trucks, trailers, heavy equipment, and vehicles
- Complete oil changes, fluid services, and preventative maintenance
- Repair worn parts and mechanical issues across varied fleets
- Coordinate parts ordering and pickup when required
- Follow company safety policies and procedures during all work
- Minimum two years repairing heavy equipment or truck fleets
- Journeyman Red Seal or equivalent qualification preferred
- Knowledge of diesel engines, hydraulics, and equipment systems
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance and safety requirements
- Valid Class 5 driver’s licence;
Class 3 is an asset
