WHAT YOU’LL BRING TO CDA:- Bachelor's degree, minimum
- Licensed Architect (Preferred)
- At least 8 to 10 years’ postgraduate and relevant experience in the field
- Experience providing the entire scope of architectural services on large projects (Planning through Construction Administration)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and work within teams
- Ability to work closely with other team members and clients throughout the life of a project
- Excellent communication and team collaboration skills
- AutoCAD skills required
- Revit skills a plus
- Must live in and be authorized to work in the United States immediately
- Willing and able to work full-time on site in our Brandon, FL or Newport, RI office (this is not a remote position)
- Design/drafting projects as it concerns all phases of design (As-builts, Schematic, Design Development, Construction Documents)
- Mentoring and delegating to others as needed
- 3D renderings and presentation boards
- Perform the process/coordination for securing town permitting (Zoning, HDC, CRMC, DEM, Planning, etc.)
- Perform client, consultant, & contractor coordination & correspondence
- Perform Code reviews
- Perform the bidding process (soft bid, final bids, etc.)
- Perform Construction Administration
