Project Architect

Job Description

Chapuis Design Group (CDG), a dynamic architectural firm in Brandon, Florida, is looking for an enthusiastic, team-oriented, experienced Project Architect with at least 5-10 years of experience for a full-time, salaried position. CDG is a recognized leader in healthcare architecture in Florida (). Knowledge of healthcare architecture, planning and design is desired, but not required if the candidate has other relevant experience.

PROJECT ARCHITECT / PM

Strong background in the FBC and NFPA is highly desired. Applicant must know Revit and be proficient in Microsoft Office applications including Word and Excel. MS PowerPoint and knowledge of Adobe software are a plus. Licensed architect is desired; however, an applicant on track to be licensed is also a possibility.

• Client Interaction/Coordinate and attend meetings
• Lead Team(s) and manage projects
• Develop specific parts of drawings
• Focus on the production of documents and associated detailing with a demonstrated ability to work on multiple repetitive projects simultaneously
• Assist in developing marketing designs and renderings as well as attending presentations

• Bachelor's and Master’s degree in Architecture
• 3-5 years’ work experience is required
• Knowledge of commonly used concepts, practices, and principles including detailing in an architectural office
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively and professionally with clients and other team members
• Proactive and high level of personal initiative
• Willingness to learn new skills and processes
• Proficiency in Revit, AutoCAD, Microsoft Suite including Excel and Word
