Technical Integrator / Liaison Officer (LNO)

This position is on-site at Hurlburt Field and requires an active Top-Secret security clearance. Regular travel to test ranges, demonstrations, and supported unit locations is required.

This on-site role will serve as LMI’s primary interface to AFSOC stakeholders at Hurlburt Field Florida, synchronizing activity across pilots, operators, engineers, testers, program staff, and industry partners.

The ideal candidate is a mission-focused integrator who can lead through influence, translate between operational and technical communities, and keep complex, multi-organization efforts aligned, moving, and accountable.

LMI is a new breed of digital solutions provider dedicated to accelerating government impact with innovation and speed. Investing in technology and prototypes ahead of need, LMI brings commercial-grade platforms and mission-ready AI to federal agencies at commercial speed.

Responsibilities
  • Serve as the primary on-site LMI technical integrator and liaison to AFSOC for robotic and autonomous systems efforts.
  • Build and maintain trusted working relationships with AFSOC headquarters, wings, groups, squadrons, group SORDs, pilots, operators, test organizations, engineers, acquisition personnel, program offices, and external partners.
  • Synchronize requirements, engineering, integration, test, training, fielding, and operational feedback across multiple organizations and concurrent lines of effort.
  • Translate operator needs, mission threads, and test observations into clear technical requirements, priorities, actions, and decision points for engineering and program teams.
  • Translate technical constraints, integration dependencies, risk, readiness, and test results into language accessible to pilots, operators, requirements leads, and senior decision-makers.
  • Develop and maintain integrated schedules, action trackers, decision logs, risk and issue registers, dependency maps, stakeholder matrices, and concise status reporting.
  • Plan and facilitate integrated product teams, technical interchange meetings, working groups, test planning events, test readiness reviews, demonstrations, after-action reviews, and senior leader updates.
  • Drive closure of cross-organizational actions by identifying owners, deadlines, dependencies, and required decisions; elevate blockers early and recommend practical paths forward.
  • Coordinate integration of air vehicles, payloads and effects, autonomy, navigation, command-and-control and datalinks, mission-planning software, ground-control systems, telemetry, and test infrastructure, as applicable.
  • Support the development and review of concepts of operation, mission threads, integration plans, test plans, evaluation criteria, range and safety coordination inputs, fielding plans, and training materials.
  • Maintain awareness of changes in requirements, configurations, interfaces, schedules, test assets, and operational priorities, ensuring stakeholders operate from a common and current understanding.
  • Coordinate LMI and partner support to test events and demonstrations, including personnel, equipment, data, logistics, site access, communications, and follow-on actions.
  • Capture user feedback and lessons learned and convert findings into prioritized technical, process, training, and operational improvements.
  • Brief program status, risks, decisions, and recommended actions to LMI and government leaders with clarity, candor, and the appropriate level of technical depth.
  • Operate effectively in a high-tempo, ambiguous environment where success depends on initiative, judgment, diplomacy, follow-through, and the ability to lead without formal authority.
