Medical Assistant - Bilingual- Brandon

Overview

Max Health in Brandon is looking to hire a full-time Medical Assistant to oversee patient care, prepare patients  rooms, assist physicians with exams, and perform front desk tasks. Starting Salary - $20.00 an hour.

Location - Lithia Pinecrest Rd, Brandon.

Normal hours of operation are Monday–Friday 8:00am–5:00pm. Candidates must be bilingual English/Spanish.

As a Medical Assistant, you are directly involved in ensuring that we deliver focused and empathetic patient care at all times. You greet patients warmly and triage them upon arrival. You prepare examination and procedure rooms, obtain histories, take vital signs and measure weight/height. You perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and procedures, managing required documents (pre-authorizations, medical records, test results), and assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments as needed.

• 1+ years of experience as an MA
• Ability to be on your feet for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
• Computer literacy (experience using EMR/EHR)
• Computer proficient
