As our Supervisor of Sterile Processing, you will supervise decontamination and sterilization procedures and assist in keeping the department running smoothly. You will maintain accurate records, ensure instrument functionality, operate equipment, process surgical instruments, and support department leadership with scheduling, disciplinary actions, and training.

• Maintain accurate sterilization records for all machine tests as well as a monthly report.
• Assure adequate instrumentation functionality for Surgical Services and other areas of the hospital as needed.
• Operate Ultrasonic, Steam, Steris and Sterrad equipment.
• Be responsible for thorough and complete processing of all usable surgical instruments.
• Assist department leadership in any way necessary to keep the department running smoothly, i.e. assist with scheduling, disciplinary actions and training.

• High School graduate or equivalent.
• Previous experience 3‑5 year Sterile Processing, 1‑2 years Sterile Processing leadership required.
• Sterile Processing certification required.
• Knowledge and experience of cleaning, assembling, wrapping and sterilizing reusable surgical instruments and supplies.
