Position: Physical Therapist Assistant – Outpatient Orthopedics

E. Bloomingdale Ave., Brandon, FL 33511

Schedule: Full Time Mon - Fri

Compensation: $25/hr - $30/hr starting hourly rate calculated by experience.

Incentives: $10,000 bonus. Indefinite student debt repayment option of $200/month

Select Physical Therapy's outpatient center has an immediate need for a Full Time Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) working with a highly experienced team of 3 clinicians treating outpatient orthopedics, neuro, vestibular, and dry needling. Newly licensed and experienced PTAs are welcome. Mentoring is available.

• Responsible for patient care under the direction and supervision of a licensed physical therapist as mandated by State Practice Act.
• Implement, with minimal supervision, high quality physical therapy services for patients, caregivers and facilities in accordance with the principals and practices of physical therapy and with Select Medical policies and procedures.
• Maintain a positive level of interaction with centers and patients, and enhance and expand client relations with centers and their staff.

• College graduate of an accredited physical therapist assistant program.
• Passed a national examination for PTAs certified by the CAPTE.
• Valid state physical therapist assistant (PTA) license (or license in process).
• CPR certification.
