Job Summary
TNAA Total Med Allied is hiring a travel CT Technologist for a 12‑week assignment in Brandon, FL. The position starts ASAP and requires 36 hours per week on 12‑hour night shifts.
Responsibilities- Confirm patient identification, review imaging requests, and explain procedures to patients.
- Interpret doctors’ written instructions accurately.
- Appropriately position patients for targeted scans.
- Operate computerized tomography equipment to capture diagnostic images.
- Administer radiocontrast agents to enhance image quality.
- Evaluate CT scans for technical quality.
- Follow radiation safety procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records.
- Use the McKesson PACS system.
- Minimum 1 year of CT experience.
- BLS certification.
- ARRT (CT) national certification with registration.
- State‑specific licensing when required.
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lean, and stoop for long periods.
- Sound knowledge of anatomy, physiology, pathology, and medical terminology.
