Therapist – Respiratory Therapist

Job Summary:

Seeking a highly skilled Respiratory Therapist with NICU experience to provide exceptional care in a Level 3 NICU setting. This 13-week travel assignment offers an opportunity to work within a dynamic and technologically advanced environment.

Responsibilities:

• Administer advanced ventilator management, including conventional and high-frequency oscillatory ventilation.
• Attend high-risk deliveries and support perinatal respiratory needs.
• Perform blood gas acquisition and accurately interpret results.
• Administer Nitric Oxide therapy and other respiratory treatments per physician orders.
• Educate and support families while maintaining compliance with unit policies and safety standards.
• Use medical equipment such as Drager VN500 ventilators, 3100A Oscillators, and Vapotherms effectively.

Qualifications:

• Valid Respiratory Therapist license with state licensure.
• Minimum of 1 year of recent NICU experience, preferably Level 3 NICU.
• CPR, NRP certification required; STABLE certification preferred.
• Proven ability to critically think, work independently, and adapt quickly.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills.
