A growing manufacturing and distribution organization is seeking an experienced Human Resources Business Partner for a long-term temporary assignment (6–9 months). This is a highly visible, hands-on role supporting hourly and salaried teams across two on-site locations. The HRBP will partner closely with operations leadership to stabilize people operations, strengthen employee relations, and serve as a trusted bridge between employees and management.
This role is ideal for an HR professional who can step in quickly, build credibility fast, and confidently handle complex employee matters in a regulated, operational environment.
Key Responsibilities- Act as the primary HR partner for on-site leadership and frontline employees across two manufacturing locations
- Serve as a trusted liaison between employees and leadership, addressing concerns and driving resolutions
- Lead employee relations matters including investigations, conflict resolution, coaching, and corrective action
- Provide hands-on support for recruiting, interviewing, hiring, onboarding, and employee lifecycle processes
- Partner with operations leaders to identify people-related risks and implement practical, compliant solutions
- Support compliance with labor laws, internal policies, and company standards
- Coach managers on performance management, documentation, and employee engagement
- Collaborate with on-site HR support staff to ensure consistency and follow-through
- Maintain a strong on-site presence and build rapport with hourly manufacturing teams
- 5+ years of progressive HR experience, ideally in manufacturing, distribution, or operational environments
- Proven strength in employee relations and business partnership
- Confident communicator with the ability to deliver tough messages while maintaining trust and morale
- Hands-on, solutions-oriented approach with the ability to work independently
- Comfortable operating in fast-paced, regulated, people-heavy environments
- Bilingual Spanish/English a plus (not required)
- Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM (minimal overtime)
- Work Location: Fully on-site; split between two locations weekly
- Duration: 6–9 months (long-term temporary assignment)
