Storm Duty Requirements

Team members are required to participate in the response/recovery activities related to emergencies/disasters to maintain service to our customers. Team members must work within their normal job duties or other assigned activities. Proper compensation will be made in accordance with the company’s rules and procedures. Responding to storms will be considered a condition of employment.

The Integration Solutions Architect is responsible for leading the creation of a technology architecture framework and providing technical leadership in support of the organization’s initiatives in on‑prem and cloud computing. The Architect will leverage both on‑prem and cloud integration services and automation, ensuring public and private services and solutions are architected and designed optimally for cost, functionality, reliability, and resiliency. The Architect will also handle implementation and delivery of the organization’s Enterprise Integration strategy, introduction of new emerging technologies, public cloud services, API services, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) strategies.

The role requires working with development teams and stakeholders, providing architecture leadership, best practices, and enabling migration and refactoring of on‑premises applications to cloud‑native design and deployment methodologies.

• Integration Architecture, Design, and Development
• Demonstrate deep subject matter leadership of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi‑tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability)
• Manage the development and implementation of Integration strategy, develop the architecture governance framework, and define architecture foundations
• Define integration standards, Dev Ops, Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery (CI/CD) tool chain and Standard Operating Environment (SOE)
• Define, implement, and enforce Enterprise Integration standards, Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) Standards, Business Process Integration (BPI) standards, and associated tools/platforms/frameworks for the organization’s application portfolio, in coordination with IT‑wide efforts and Technology Architecture and Planning
• Drive Proof‑of‑Concepts and implementation, with hands‑on involvement as SME for new SOA items: build deployment automation pipelines, build automated next‑gen CI/CD pipelines partnering with development teams, build and integrate new technologies like containers enabling multi‑cloud and preventing cloud provider lock‑in
• Define and execute the Enterprise Integration strategy for public and private cloud migrations and on‑premises evolution, in alignment with overall IT strategy and directions
• Define and enforce Integration architecture best practices: availability; redundancy schemes, performance, Disaster Recovery, DB, and Interfacing Systems, etc.
• Act as an SME to the organization for the on‑prem and cloud end‑to‑end architecture, including SAP, Azure platforms, Success Factors, HANA API, networking, provisioning, and management
• Develop a library of deployable and documented design patterns, based on the organization’s application portfolio, as a basis for deploying services to the cloud
• Demonstrate leadership ability to back decisions with research and the “why,” articulate options, pros and cons, and recommend solutions
• Maintain overall industry knowledge on latest trends, technology, and how they apply to the organization’s cloud strategy and roadmap
• Develop solutions architecture and evaluate alternatives for private, public and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, Integration Platform as a Service (iPaaS) and other cloud services
• Contribute to Dev Ops development activities and complex development tasks
• Define optimal design patterns and solutions for high availability and disaster recovery for applications, aligned with business and technology strategies
• Communicate functionality that reliably moves messages/data among endpoints
