POSITION CONCEPT

The Integration Solutions Architect is responsible for leading the creation of a technology architecture framework and providing technical leadership in support of the organization's initiatives in on‑prem and cloud computing by leveraging both on‑prem and cloud integration services and automation. The Architect will also be responsible for implementation and delivery of the organization's Enterprise Integration strategy, introduction of new emerging technologies, public cloud services, API services, and Service Oriented Architecture (SOA) strategies, and driving migration and refactoring of on‑premises applications to cloud native design.

• Integration Architecture, Design, and Development
  • Demonstrate deep subject matter leadership of cloud architecture and implementation features (OS, multi‑tenancy, virtualization, orchestration, elastic scalability)
  • Manage the development and implementation of Integration strategy, architecture governance framework, and architecture foundations
  • Define integration standards, Dev Ops, CI/CD tool chain, and Standard Operating Environment (SOE)
  • Define, implement, and enforce Enterprise Integration standards, SOA standards, Business Process Integration (BPI) standards, and associated tools/platforms/frameworks
  • Drive Proof‑of‑Concepts and implementations; build deployment automation pipelines and next‑gen CI/CD pipelines; integrate new technologies such as containers to enable multi‑cloud and prevent cloud provider lock‑in
  • Define and execute Enterprise Integration strategy for public and private cloud migrations and on‑premises evolution, aligned with overall IT strategy
  • Define and enforce Integration architecture best practices: availability, redundancy, performance, disaster recovery, database, and interfacing systems
  • Act as SME for on‑prem and cloud end‑to‑end architecture, including SAP, Azure, Success Factors, HANA API, networking, provisioning, and management
  • Develop a library of deployable and documented design patterns for deploying services to the cloud
  • Demonstrate leadership by providing research, options, pros and cons, and recommendations
  • Maintain industry knowledge of latest trends and technologies and their applicability to the organization's cloud strategy and roadmap
  • Develop solutions architecture and evaluate alternatives for private, public, and hybrid cloud models, including IaaS, PaaS, iPaaS, and other cloud services
  • Contribute to Dev Ops development activities and complex development tasks
  • Define optimal design patterns and solutions for high availability and disaster recovery that align with business and technology strategies
  • Communicate functionality that reliably moves messages/data among endpoints
  • Support fundamental web and web services standards
  • Design functionality for dynamic binding of consumer and provider endpoints, message validation, mapping, transformation, and enrichment
  • Support orchestration, multiple interaction patterns, content‑based routing, and typed messages
• Consultation
  • Drive scope definition, requirements analysis, functional and technical design, application build, product configuration, unit testing, and production deployment
  • Ensure solutions meet technical and functional/non‑functional requirements
  • Provide technical expertise and ownership for diagnosis and resolution of issues, including workarounds and escalation to service owners
  • Ensure solutions are delivered on committed timeframe; manage scope and risk with Business and Application Development; communicate project health and risks to stakeholders, sponsors, and management
  • Provide support and technical governance related to cloud architectures, deployment, and operation
• Mentoring
  • Coach and mentor team members and technical staff on assigned project tasks, including cloud standards and frameworks, and enable cultural change for cloud adoption
  • Develop a cohesive team and ensure continued success
  • Lead development of cloud reference architecture and management systems
