Unit Manager RN or LPN Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Unit Nurse Manager (RN) or (LPN) to join our team at Aviata at Central Park in Brandon, Florida. As a Unit Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for managing the staffing needs, providing supervision for nursing staff, and ensuring quality resident care on the assigned unit. Aboutthe Role
As a Unit Nurse Manager, you will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of the unit, including:
- Managing the staffing needs and providing supervision for nursing staff providing direct resident care
- Assisting in staff development and providing coaching and guidance to nursing staff
- Providing direct resident care in accordance with established plans
- Supervising Clinical Nurses and Nurse Assistants
- Conducting and documenting a complete data collection of each resident's medical status
- Assisting in the development and implementation of an individualized treatment plan for each assigned resident

- Must possess a current, unencumbered, active state license to practice as an RN or LPN.
- Minimum (3) years nursing experience preferred in a setting serving the same age/type of resident population served by this facility
- Minimum one (1) year experience in nursing administration
