Job Description
Join the LEGO® Brand Retail team as a part‑time Team Leader and be a role model while delivering an exceptional brand experience for our customers. In this role you will provide training to enhance the team’s ability to exceed our high standards of customer service, product knowledge and sales.
Experiences & Responsibilities- Maximize profitable sales by regularly reviewing sales and margin information
- Ensure appropriate and effective space management techniques are used
- Maintain store graphics and pricing systems, focusing on customer service and profit maximization
- Ensure all fixtures are always replenished
- Evaluate competitor visual merchandising techniques and identify opportunities for improvement
- Train Sales Associates on visual merchandising techniques according to LEGO® Brand Retail guidelines
- Motivate and develop a high‑performance team, sharing the LEGO® Brand, Vision and Values
- Deliver inspirational retail experiences built on LEGO Brand values
- Maintain safety‑first environment and promote teamwork among employees
- Assist the Assistant Store Manager (ASM) and Store Manager (SM) with holiday scheduling, attendance and team scheduling
- Supervise Sales Associates during the shift, handling issues in line with LEGO policies and procedures with support from ASM and SM
- Complete store and office supply orders within guidelines and operating budgets
- Enforce money handling procedures for all Sales Associates
- Maintain a well‑organized stockroom and ensure that merchandise is displayed on the shop floor, meeting loss prevention targets
- Assist with merchandise presentation, ensuring high standards following store guidelines
- Leadership and/or management experience in a retail store environment
- Experience delivering employee training
- Cash handling and inventory/sales audit skills
- Proficiency with point‑of‑sale automated systems
- Knowledge of merchandise maintenance and visual merchandising
- Physical ability: constant movement, talking, hearing, reaching, grabbing, standing for at least two consecutive hours, occasional stooping, kneeling, crouching, climbing ladders, lifting at least 30 lbs, and having sufficient vision and depth perception
- Availability to work up to 30 hours per week (availability required, not guaranteed schedule)
The hourly wage range is $20.11–$21.51, based on expected responsibilities, market benchmarks and internal equity. Full remuneration details will be communicated upon job offer.
