Security Officer Full Time Driver Patrol – Brandon, FL

You will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an unarmed patrol officer at a busy retail location, where you will conduct routine mobile and foot patrols, remain visible to help reduce security-related incidents, and support shoppers, tenants, and staff with strong customer service and communication. This is a driving post.

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities appropriate to a retail location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, and problem‑solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or local authorities when needed.
• Conduct regular and random foot patrols throughout common areas, entrances, exits, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter to help identify unusual activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within the location to help support authorized entry, loss prevention efforts, and compliance with property rules and posted regulations.
• Assist with closing procedures, after‑hours checks, and customer assistance requests as needed while maintaining a visible presence throughout the property.

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
