Job DescriptionAs a Security Officer Healthcare Patrol in Brandon, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Healthcare, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a healthcare location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, support a welcoming environment, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism and care. In this active role, you will stay visible, complete routine patrols, and deliver strong customer service and communication while working with a team that values agility, reliability, innovation, and integrity.

- Provide customer service at a healthcare location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities when appropriate.
- Respond to incidents, disturbances, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner while documenting relevant details and communicating with site contacts when needed.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help deter unwanted activity and/or identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, observe visitor and staff activity, and report security-related concerns, hazards, and/or policy violations according to site protocols.
- Support a professional environment by assisting patients, visitors, and staff with directions, information, and/or reporting needs while maintaining visible presence throughout the location.
- Have at least 1 year of security-related experience.
- Meet hospital vaccination requirements.
- Be able to work in a hospital setting that includes the morgue.
- Provide proof of a high school diploma or GED.
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Be able to restrain individuals in a hospital setting.
- Have at least 2 years of service in a healthcare/medical-related field.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
