Overview

General Job Description Edmonson Electric, the premier residential electrical contractor in Tampa Bay, is looking for helpers for the Brandon location. We pay weekly; benefits include:

Duties / Responsibilities
  • Aiding in installation of rough wiring or trim work for builder changes etc throughout the process of new home construction
  • Ensuring all work is done in a neat and workmanlike manner and done to our customers specifications
  • Helping with installation of electrical services on new construction homes
  • Ensuring safety while on job site of yourself and others around you while working
  • Helper is responsible for learning proper installation techniques
Required Skills / Abilities
  • Accuracy with measurements
  • Willingness to learn to read electrical prints and to scale prints
  • Ensuring that work is done to NEC code and all applicable county/state codes
  • Ability to troubleshoot home during trim installation to ensure readiness for hot check and county inspections
Physical Requirements
  • Must be able to lift up to 60 pounds at times
  • Prolonged periods of standing, kneeling, bending, and climbing ladders
  • Must be physically capable of pulling wires and cables through conduits
  • Must be able to work in confined spaces
  • Must be able to use hand and power tools for extended periods of time
  • Must have clean driving record
