Attractions Technician

JOB SUMMARY

The role will be responsible for the maintenance and appearance of all attractions. The Attractions Technician will assist with facilitating the repair and maintenance of our attractions and any associated equipment. The ideal candidate will be self‑motivated and able to work in a fast‑paced environment.

• Keep accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory
• Assist with the repair of equipment, troubleshooting, and maintenance of attractions in superior working order
• Maintain a neat and orderly work area and back‑end environment
• Maintain an adequate supply of tools and machinery
• Read and interpret diagnostics from manuals
• Maintain a safe work environment and assist the supervisor to ensure staff adheres to all safety rules
• Advise the supervisor on any problems or potential problems discovered during maintenance of attractions
• Work various shifts; regular attendance is a requirement for the role
• Perform other related duties as assigned

• Must be at least 18 years of age
• High school diploma or GED; or minimum of one (1) year related experience and/or training; or an equivalent combination of education and experience
• Some knowledge of amusement equipment is preferred but not required
• Work flexibility (nights, weekends, and holidays as needed)
• Basic working knowledge of hand tools
• General knowledge of related OSHA regulations and safety practices

• Work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with distracting conditions
• Move throughout the facility and stand for long periods of time (over two‑thirds of the time)
• Stand, kneel, bend, walk, reach above shoulder, push, and pull
• Lift, push, pull, or carry up to 300 lbs. (70 lbs. with the assistance of a dolly)
• Wear personal protective gear as required
• Stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and use hands and fingers to operate tools (e.g., drills, ladders, chemicals)
