Service Technician

Maintenance personnel are responsible for assisting the Service Manager in completing tasks that ensure the physical aspects of the community meet the company’s established standards for safety, appearance, and operation. Maintenance personnel are also responsible for maintaining and operating all mechanical equipment including those devices used for heating and air conditioning, plumbing, carpentry, and electrical. Maintenance personnel are also responsible for performing all necessary preventative and repair service of all areas of the community, including vacant apartment preparation, appliance and HVAC repair and general service.

All Maintenance Associates report to the Service Manager, or in the absence of the supervisor, to the Community Manager. All must comply with the company’s and community’s operating and safety policies and procedures and adhering to federal, state and local laws pertaining to the operation of the community. This position is also responsible for complying with all state, federal and/or local laws relating to Fair Housing.

Some weekend and evening shifts will be required, as well as being on-call.
