Purpose at AshleyThe Delivery Driver delivers products to appointed locations in an efficient, effective, and safe manner, while promoting exceptional customer service through quality workmanship and clear, professional communication. You will manage driving to customers’ homes on pre‑routed trips. It is critical to have a customer‑centric mindset as your delivery is direct to the customer and our goal is always to give them a world class experience.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Drive to customers’ homes on pre‑routed trips.
- Perform deliveries ranging from door drop‑offs to full set‑ups of products in customer homes.
- Follow best practices for safety on the road and while loading or unloading a truck.
- Communicate with dispatchers, drivers, and other team members to ensure timely deliveries.
- Demonstrate the Company’s Core and Growth Values in all job functions.
- Legally authorized to work in the US.
- At least 21 years old.
- Clean driving record – 3 years.
- Box truck delivery driving experience – 2 years.
- Regularly lift objects over 50 lbs., with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Maintain reliable attendance.
