Overview
Returns is responsible for solving issues that may arise during the return process, such as proper return code assignment and errors that lead to merchandise returns. The role involves following up with Home Stores and HS Distribution Centers to communicate root causes and support the creation of a sustainable, error-free process. Returns personnel present returns results and research findings to Senior Managers.
The Returns Admin re consolidates systems to ensure returned items have the proper designation code and are properly disposed of and allocated in the system. The Returns Admin gathers information from customers to improve the customer experience and works with Customer Service functions.
The Returns Admin is accountable for the accuracy and relevant data for products returned.
Primary Job Functions- Track and compile return data with the purpose of identifying areas of concern and possible root causes.
- Physically observe and inspect items returned after delivery to ensure proper return coding.
- Gather information from customers about potential reasons for the return of merchandise.
- Solve any potential issues that may arise during the return process.
- Clear out the systems to make items ready for the billing department.
- Properly identify products by item number.
- Accurately identify return scores.
- Address driver issues regarding load out, such as missing pieces, missing hardware, cross-dock items and items returned.
- Communicate with customers as needed to gather additional data and perform customer service functions.
- Report findings to the immediate supervisor to correct errors and sustain a culture of continuous improvement.

- Education:
High School Diploma or equivalent - Experience:
1 year of warehouse experience
