SUMMARY
Under the leadership of the Reservoir Lead Pastor of Adult Groups, the primary responsibility for the Minister of Adult Groups at the Pinelake Reservoir Campus will be to identify, shepherd, and mobilize people, leaders, and coaches who learn from Christ, live in Christ, and lead other people to Christ. These responsibilities include the invention, execution, ownership and ongoing growth discipleship opportunities for all adults.
This role works in unison with the Reservoir Campus Adult Groups Team to assimilate people in our Discipleship Pathway and recruit, develop, and equip servant leader teams to support the Pathway.
GENERAL RESPONSIBILITIES
- Works in coordination with the overall goals and objectives of Pinelake Church.
- Assists the Lead Pastor of Adult Groups to work toward excellence in all areas of the ministry.
- As a part of the overall Reservoir staff team, participate in campus-wide ministry events and the shepherding of our Reservoir faith family.
- Basic personal responsibilities:
- Maintain a vital and growing personal walk with the Lord through committed Bible study, prayer, meditation and practicing L3.
- Maintain proper priorities in your home including your spouse and children (if married and/or with children).
- Faithfully support the ministries of Pinelake by maintaining wise stewardship measures over the resources entrusted to you.
- Maintain active participation in community.
- Reflect a growing awareness and practice of personal Emotional Healthy Spirituality.
- Perform duties and responsibilities in a manner to glorify Christ and further the mission and ministry purposes of Pinelake Church (Colossians 3:23-24).

SPECIFIC LIST OF DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Shepherd others toward biblical community and small group discipleship opportunities.
- Provide ownership and oversight of connect opportunities for adults at the Pinelake Reservoir Campus.
- Foster relationships that point people toward next steps in leadership and service.
- Develop small group leaders and servant led core teams to support our Discipleship Pathway Including Essentials, Jesus Centered Life, and Be The Church.
- Develop and coach servant leaders who are part of the Adult Groups Lead Team.
- Model and implement a culture of hospitality for engaging groups on our campus.
- Plan, develop, oversee, and evaluate components of the Adult Group's ministry in coordination with the Reservoir Campus Lead Pastor of Adult Groups.
- Establish goals and objectives with the Reservoir Campus Lead Pastor of Adult Groups for the ministry and initiate strategies to fulfill them.
- Collaborate with the Pinelake One Church Groups team to develop and implement avenues for leading adults to learn from, live in, and lead others to Christ.
- Work with the Reservoir Lead Pastor of Adult Groups for implementation strategies toward servant leader team development, onboarding, and recruitment.
- Work with the Reservoir Lead Pastor of Adult Groups for implementation strategies toward small group leader development, onboarding, and equipping.
- Under the leadership of the Lead Pastor of Adult Groups, appropriately steward ministry budget and resources.
- Support other ministry areas as necessary in the successful completion of regular worship events and special events.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES
Supervises and coordinates work with servant-leaders.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Bachelor's degree minimum; and one to four years of related experience and/or training.
LANGUAGE SKILLS
The individual must have excellent interpersonal skills, the ability to work with a diverse group of people, communicate clearly and effectively on the telephone, e-mail and in person, demonstrating tact and diplomacy. Exceptional interpersonal skills are required to develop and maintain strong working relationships with volunteers, co-workers, the public, church members and regular attendees. The individual must be able to understand written or oral instructions;
read, analyze and interpret documents, instructions manuals, and policies and procedures.
COMPUTER AND MATHEMATICAL SKILLS
The individual must have demonstrated skill in the use of PC systems to complete tasks, including word processing and spreadsheets and the ability to use the internet for information retrieval. The individual must have basic mathematical skills, knowledge of bookkeeping and basic accounting, and budget and expense monitoring. The individual must be able to read financial information and spreadsheets.
