We are hiring ahands-on Facility Managerto support daily operations and maintenance at a permitted
RCRA hazardous waste treatment and storage facility in
Urania, Louisiana. This is an on-site role for someone who is comfortable working in an industrial environment and handling both operational and maintenance responsibilities.
- Manage daily facility operations and maintenance activities
- Perform and coordinate equipment maintenance and minor repairs
- Conduct routine inspections and preventative maintenance
- Operate and maintain facility equipment as needed
- Support environmental compliance activities, including environmental sampling
- Maintain accurate records, logs, and reports
- Communicate with supervisors, vendors, and contractors
- Ensure all work is performed safely and in accordance with facility procedures
- Experience working at or supporting a
RCRA hazardous waste facility - Operations and Maintenance (O&M) experience in an industrial or environmental setting
- 40-Hour HAZWOPER certification
(preferred) - Welding experience and general mechanical maintenance skills
- Experience operating
forklifts and tractors - Experience with environmental sampling (soil, water, waste, etc.)
- Basic computer skills, including:
- Microsoft Word
- Microsoft Excel
- Ability to complete basic written documentation and reports
- Strong safety awareness and attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and as part of a small team
- Pay based on experience
