Defining Wellness Centers, a premier full-continuum residential substance abuse treatment facility located in Brandon, Mississippi, is seeking a Licensed Therapist (LPC, LCSW, LMFT) to join our dynamic and compassionate clinical team.
Position OverviewThe therapist will provide individual and group therapy to clients in a structured residential environment, addressing co-occurring substance use disorders and mental health. This role focuses on evidence-based, trauma-informed care and plays a vital part in the recovery journey of individuals seeking long-term healing.
Qualifications- Master’s Degree in Counseling, Social Work, or a related field
- Active Mississippi license (LPC, LCSW, LMFT)
- Certification in EMDR required
- Experience working with first responders and veterans is highly preferred
- Strong knowledge of trauma, addiction, and co-occurring disorders
- Familiarity with ASAM criteria and individualized treatment planning
- Ability to work in a collaborative, multidisciplinary team environment
- Provide trauma-informed individual and group therapy sessions
- Facilitate therapeutic programming within a full continuum of care
- Conduct clinical assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system
Participate in daily clinical team meetings and case reviews - Support clients in developing coping strategies and relapse prevention plans
