St. Mark’s United Methodist Church is seeking a ¾ time youth minister to lead and nurture a vibrant ministry with middle school and high school students. This position focuses on building strong relationships with youth, cultivating discipleship, and partnering with families and volunteers to help young people grow in faith and life.

• Lead and develop a comprehensive ministry for middle and high school students
• Plan and facilitate weekly youth gatherings, Bible studies, and spiritual formation opportunities
• Recruit, train, and support adult volunteers in alignment with Safe Sanctuaries policies
• Coordinate mission opportunities, retreats, and special events
• Partner with parents, pastoral staff, and church leadership
• Encourage youth participation in worship, service, and the broader life of the church

• A committed follower of Jesus Christ with a clear call to youth ministry
• Alignment with the theology and mission of the United Methodist Church
• Strong relational and communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively as part of a ministry team
• Prior youth ministry experience or relevant education preferred.
