Hallmark Field Merchandiser (part-time) Brandon, MS 39042
As a Field Merchandiser, you'll work independently to showcase organization and time management skills, build retailer relationships, and serve as the face of Hallmark. You will collaborate with local store teams to optimize product placement, maintain inventory levels and support seasonal resets and installations when needed.
SALARY AND SCHEDULE DETAILS- Your starting hourly pay rate is $12.50 to $14.50 depending on your skills and experience.
- Paid training is provided through live, hands‑on instruction and virtual classroom training.

- This is a part‑time position with a variable schedule during the work week.
- Average weekly hours are between 7–11 hours per week.
- Availability the week before and after major holidays, including weekends, is required.
- Availability to support seasonal changeovers, extended services, installations, and inventory support.
ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE
You will perform service work in the Hallmark department of various retail stores such as grocery stores, drug stores, department stores, and mass retailers. The role includes three major components:
- Day‑to‑day engagement: Using a mobile device provided by Hallmark, restock, organize, and monitor Hallmark products within and outside the Hallmark department. Technology is critical for day‑to‑day work, communication with your supervisor, reporting time, providing feedback, and answering required merchandising surveys. Professional and courteous interaction with store employees, management and customers is vital.
- Holiday support: During holidays such as Valentine’s Day, Easter, Mother’s Day, Father’s Day, Halloween, Thanksgiving, and Christmas, expect additional days and extended hours, possibly on the holiday itself.
- Department resets: Participate in installations and tasks like building and installing Hallmark fixtures, relocating card departments and products, and resetting card sections. Typical assignments are notified two weeks in advance and may include evenings or weekends.
- Team support: As part of Hallmark’s field organization, support other team members as needed in their territories.
This job requires a high level of energy and urgency. Work on the sales floor and back stockrooms, consistently pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying cartons and fixtures up to 30 pounds daily and up to 50 pounds occasionally. Kneel, squat, walk and stand throughout the day, and may need to climb stairs and step ladders.
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS- At least 18 years of age.
- Read, write and understand English.
- Lift, pull, carry products up to 30 pounds frequently and up to 50 pounds occasionally.
- Operate a digital hand‑held device to read documents and interpret information.
- Access to a Wi‑Fi network and the internet.
- Consistent transportation to travel to assigned stores as scheduled.
