Pay Rate: By adhering to Connecticut State Law, pay ranges are posted. The pay rate will vary based on experience, skills, knowledge of position and comparison to others who are already in this role within the company.

About the Company: PACT MSO, LLC is a management service organization that supports a large multi-specialty practice of providers. We are looking for a Payroll Specialist who will be working in Branford Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. This is not a remote position.

Summary

Responsible for accurate and timely payroll processing and supporting the finance team in accounting tasks.

Essential Functions
  • Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations
  • Reconcile payroll data with third‑party vendors and year‑end activities including the preparation of W‑2s
  • Compile and catalog receipts for the monthly credit card statement
  • Scan documents into systems and ensure proper location of documents
  • Track monthly CME expenses
  • Create and send monthly billing invoices
  • Research and respond to inquiries from other departments and operations
  • Maintain financial records and ledgers
  • Create reports in Microsoft Dynamics to support monthly and interim reporting cycles
  • Support Director by assisting in projects, researching information, and other duties
  • Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency
Skills and Knowledge
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting
  • Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite
Education and Experience
  • High School diploma or equivalent
  • Bachelor degree or equivalent
  • Processed payroll + 200 employees
