About the Company: PACT MSO, LLC is a management service organization that supports a large multi-specialty practice of providers. We are looking for a Payroll Specialist who will be working in Branford Monday through Friday from 8:30am to 5:00pm. This is not a remote position.
SummaryResponsible for accurate and timely payroll processing and supporting the finance team in accounting tasks.
Essential Functions- Ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
- Ensure compliance with applicable tax laws and regulations
- Reconcile payroll data with third‑party vendors and year‑end activities including the preparation of W‑2s
- Compile and catalog receipts for the monthly credit card statement
- Scan documents into systems and ensure proper location of documents
- Track monthly CME expenses
- Create and send monthly billing invoices
- Research and respond to inquiries from other departments and operations
- Maintain financial records and ledgers
- Create reports in Microsoft Dynamics to support monthly and interim reporting cycles
- Support Director by assisting in projects, researching information, and other duties
- Identify opportunities to improve accounting processes and efficiency
- Excellent attention to detail
- Proficient in Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft 365 Suite
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Bachelor degree or equivalent
- Processed payroll + 200 employees
