Walsh Intermediate School
Special Education Para educator
10-month position
Hourly Rate: $19.37 per bargaining unit contract
Must have an academic degree or have earned at least 60 college credits, or have passed the Para Pathways (formerly Para Pro) assessment
Example of Essentials Duties:
* Assists the teacher in establishing and maintaining a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
* Assists the teacher with classroom duties and setup and preparing and maintain classroom materials and supplies
* Provide specific modifications, and/or accommodations, for assigned student(s). This can include repeating directions, performing task analysis, reading assignments or tests, document instructions and organize homework assignments.
