Special Education Para educator Job Coach
10-month position
Schedule:
Monday Friday; 9:45 2:15pm
Hourly Rate: $19.37 per bargaining unit contract
Must have an academic degree or have earned at least 60 college credits, or have passed the Para Pro assessment
Example of Essential Duties:
- Assists the teacher in establishing and maintaining a safe, nurturing and developmentally appropriate classroom environment
- Provides on-site vocational training and supervision to support student independent work skills development
- Provide specific modifications, and/or accommodations, for assigned student(s). This can include repeating directions, performing task analysis, reading assignments or tests, document instructions and organize homework assignments
