A Day in the Life as an Architectural Hardware Sales Associate

Professional sales associate experienced in decorative architectural hardware. Knowledgeable in door nomenclature, door handing, architectural finishes, functions, hinges, reading blueprints, and preparing takeoffs. Familiar with brands such as Baldwin, Omnia, Rocky Mountain, and Emtek. A strong team player with excellent communication, organization, attention to detail, and multitasking ability. Fast learner, cheerful, positive attitude, and previous retail experience.

Responsibilities
  • Learn vendor catalogs and work with clients to assist them in selecting the appropriate products for their project.
  • Prepare quotations based on door and hardware schedules.
  • Prepare sales orders and purchase orders.
  • Answer phones and meet with walk-in customers.
  • Organize and maintain showroom.
