Painter

Overview

We are seeking highly productive Painters to join our team! You will perform all aspects of residential painting with a focus on managing your jobsite, your crew, and the customer.

• Executing all the daily painting activities from the start to the finish of each project.
• Painting the interior/exterior surfaces of residential/commercial properties using brushes, rollers, and spray guns.
• Removing old paint to prepare surfaces prior to painting.
• Applying protective coverings, such as drop cloths or masking tape, to articles or areas that could be damaged or stained by work processes.
• Filling cracks or breaks in surfaces of wood/compound/plaster articles or areas with putty or epoxy compounds.
• Pressure washing all exterior surfaces.
• Cleaning work areas and equipment.
• Working extensively on ladders.
• Communicating with your Crew Leader.
• Maintaining high customer service standards with A's on Report Cards and positive testimonials.
• Maintaining a positive attitude.

• Previous experience in residential painting (3+ years recommended).
• Ability to prioritize and focus on your current task.
• Excellent preparation and painting skills.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Proficient in all aspects of painting and pressure washing.
• Carpentry experience preferred but not required.

Monday-Saturday 7am-3:30pm (Jobsites throughout Connecticut).

• $18.5/hour
