Apprentice Fence Installer

We are seeking a motivated apprentice fence installer to join a growing outdoor construction and installation team based in Connecticut, with opportunities to work across surrounding states. This role is ideal for individuals who are hands-on, reliable, and interested in building a long-term career in outdoor structures, fencing, and site installation work.

You will work alongside experienced installers to support the installation of a wide range of fencing systems and outdoor structures, ensuring high-quality workmanship and customer satisfaction.

Key responsibilities include:

• Assist in the installation of residential, commercial, and industrial fencing systems
• Support experienced crew members with site preparation, material handling, and installation work
• Learn and apply proper techniques for fencing, gates, and outdoor structures
• Follow safety procedures and maintain compliance with job site requirements
• Use hand and power tools safely and effectively
• Assist with repair, maintenance, and modification of installed fencing systems
• Ensure work quality aligns with company standards and project specifications
• Maintain a clean and organized job site

Required qualifications include:

• Prior experience in fencing installation or general construction preferred
• Landscaping or outdoor labor experience is an advantage
• Ability to perform physically demanding work in outdoor environments
• Willingness to learn and work as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship
• Reliable attendance and strong work ethic
• Ability to follow instructions and safety guidelines

Preferred qualifications include:

• Experience with fencing, carpentry, or construction-related trades
• Familiarity with basic hand and power tools
• Exposure to outdoor structure installation (decks, pergolas, gates, etc.)
• Willingness to travel or relocate for project assignments when needed
