Development Specialist

Description

Pregnancy Life Line (PLL) is looking for a part-time Development Specialist, able to work 16-24 hours Monday through Thursday at PLL in Branson West. Compensation will be based on the skill set and experience of the successful candidate.

Responsibilities include:

• Fundraising event planning & management
• Manage newsletters
• Donor Relationships
• Analyze donor data for trends, areas to improve, etc.
• Assess new donor communications
• Strengthen donor relationships
• Oversee donor social media posts, boosts, etc.
• Oversee donor website
• Community relationships
• Schedule/coordinate open houses as appropriate
• School relationships
• Attend key community meetings and events
• Coordinate PLL presence at community events
• Public Relations
• Speak at various community events and forums,
• Handle media interviews, etc.
• Recruit event volunteers, church liaisons, etc.
• Manage Sexual Health Education program/relationship
• Grant writing

Skills and Traits

• Project Management experience (planning, implementing and assessing)
• Proficient in MS Word
• Competent in Excel spreadsheets (can update existing spreadsheets, create simple spreadsheets, extract data from spreadsheets)
• Competent with Power Point
• Familiar with Canva or other graphic software (not a required skill as we can teach it, but a definite plus)
• Strong communication skills
