Early Childhood Special Education Teacher
Location: ECSE Classroom is located in Niangua School District

Job Description: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Early Childhood Special Education Teacher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have experience working with young children who have special needs and a strong commitment to providing high-quality education in an inclusive environment.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement individualized education plans (IEPs) for students with special needs.
- Collaborate with parents, other teachers, and specialists to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
- Adapt curriculum and teaching methods to meet the diverse needs of students.
- Provide direct instruction, support, and interventions as needed to help students achieve their goals.
- Monitor student progress and adjust instructional strategies accordingly.
- Document student progress and maintain accurate records in compliance with state and federal regulations.
- Participate in team meetings, professional development activities, and parent conferences.
- Foster positive relationships with students and families to support their overall development and well-being.
- Supervise paraprofessionals assigned to the classroom.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Special Education, or a related field.
- Valid state teaching license/certification in Early Childhood Special Education.
- Experience working with young children with special needs, including knowledge of best practices in early intervention and developmentally appropriate teaching strategies.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and organizational skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team and independently.
- Commitment to ongoing professional growth and development.
