The City of Branson is seeking a skilled and motivated Engineering Construction Project Manager/CAD professional to plan, organize, coordinate, and direct highly technical work in support of engineering, infrastructure, environmental development and GIS functions for public works programs and capital improvement projects. Work involves applying scientific and technical knowledge to projects and assignments.
What You'll Do- Lead on-site surveying operations, from layout and staking to operating advanced survey equipment.
- Drive design and drafting work with significant independence, creating accurate drawings, maps, and as-built documentation.
- Coordinate CAD workflows and collaborate across departments to keep public works and engineering projects moving smoothly.
- Support a wide range of engineering and public works projects—water, sewer, storm, streets, and more—ensuring technical accuracy and compliance.

- Graduation from an accredited technical school program or a college or university with an Associates of Technology degree in Civil Technology is required.
- Five (5) years of progressive responsible and successful full-time employment in technical engineering, to include drafting, surveying, and mapping as part of the duties is required.
- Seven (7) years of full-time employment in technical engineering may be substituted for formal education or training (Two (2) years to substitute for the degree plus five (5) years of the required experience.)
- Three (3) years of experience working with AutoCAD Civil 3D.
- Municipal construction inspection/observation is preferred.
- Candidates must also be willing to participate in the on-call rotation and respond to emergency calls outside normal work hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as assigned. This position also requires availability for snow route operations, including 12-hour shifts during the months of November through March.
- Successful completion of a background investigation and drug and alcohol screenings.
The starting salary is $63,743.51

WORK HOURS: Monday through Friday, 8am to 4:30pm;
On call after hours needed
WORK LOCATION: In and around the City of Branson, Missouri;
This position requires work to be performed onsite.
