Schedule:

Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (1-hour lunch)

Training:
Hands-on training with management; approximately 1 month before working independently

Travel:
Local travel to hospitals and assisted living facilities using a company vehicle (typically 1-2 hours max on travel days)

Position Overview

The Clinical Technician will support the Respiratory Therapy department by setting up, delivering, and troubleshooting respiratory equipment in clinical settings. This role requires strong customer service skills, the ability to explain medical equipment to patients and caregivers, and flexibility to serve as a Customer Service Representative (CSR) in the branch location when not performing field work.

During the contract period, work will be based at the Branson, MO branch location. Training will prepare the technician to later enter patient homes to assist Respiratory Therapists with equipment setup and education.

Key Responsibilities Clinical Equipment Support

+ Work alongside Respiratory Therapy staff and Program Managers to provide equipment instruction, service, and troubleshooting.

+ Educate patients and caregivers on the use and care of respiratory equipment including CPAP, BiPAP, oxygen systems, nebulizers, and related devices.

+ Set up equipment, explain functionality, and review financial responsibilities with patients.

+ Complete required documentation accurately and in a timely manner (e.g., delivery tickets, safety checklists, patient booklets, cleaning instructions).

Customer Service Responsibilities (In-Branch)

+ Serve as a Customer Service Specialist when not performing field duties.

+ Answer inbound calls, place outbound calls, and manage email communication.

+ Obtain, review, and verify referral information; create orders or schedule patients for equipment delivery.

+ Meet call handling and follow-up expectations.

+ Process orders and route communication to appropriate internal teams.

+ Provide excellent, professional customer service to patients, caregivers, and healthcare partners.

Skills & Qualifications Required

+ High School Diploma or equivalent

+ Minimum 1 year of experience in one of the following areas:

+ Healthcare administration

+ Insurance or medical billing

+ Customer service

+ Call center or support environment

+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use

+ Strong communication skills, both verbal and written

+ Ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks

+ Analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail

+ Ability to learn new technologies and understand how data flows through systems

+ Ability to work independently and collaboratively

+ Adaptability in a fast-changing environment; proactive, accountable, and patient

+ Customer-service oriented with a professional demeanor

Preferred Skills

+ Basic understanding of medical terminology

+ Knowledge of insurance policies and HIPAA requirements

+ Experience in technical support, medical assisting, or clinical care

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Branson, MO.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $20.00/hr.
