This role involves preparing nutritious and delicious meals tailored to the dietary needs and preferences of our residents, ensuring meal times are a highlight of their day.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of kitchen operations and experience in meal planning and preparation, particularly within a healthcare or senior living environment.

Responsibilities

• Prepare daily meals according to menu plans and dietary requirements.
• Ensure high standards of kitchen hygiene and food safety are maintained at all times.
• Collaborate with the dietary team to develop and update menus that cater to residents' preferences and nutritional needs.
• Monitor stock levels and communicate with suppliers to ensure kitchen resources are adequately maintained.
• Engage with residents to receive feedback and make necessary adjustments to meal offerings.
• Conduct regular kitchen maintenance and cleaning according to health and safety regulations.
