• Utilizes the nursing process to assess patient needs, identify a plan of care, and implement and evaluate care.
• Provides direct and indirect patient care and leads the patient care team toward goal achievement in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and hospital policy.
• Provides didactic and hands-on education to support staff development and enhance clinical performance.

  Required:
  
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
• Experience:
  
  Required:
  
  At least 2 years of previous nursing experience
• Skills:
  
  Excellent verbal and written communication, effective leadership, time management, computer literacy, strong critical thinking/problem solving, flexibility to multitask
• Licensure/Certification/Registration:
  
  Required:
  
  RN license active in the state of Missouri; required: must complete department-specific certifications within the designated time frame
