Shift: Night Shift

The critical care nurse provides direct and individualized care to acutely and critically ill patients in a highly technical and ongoing monitoring environment. Responsibilities include assessing patients’ conditions, performing diagnostic tests, initiating treatments, and assisting physicians with necessary procedures. The nurse monitors and adjusts specialized equipment, interprets and records electronic displays such as intracranial pressures, central venous pressures, pulmonary artery pressures, cardiac rhythms, and ventilator settings.

• Required:
  
  Graduate of an accredited nursing program or NLN approved program
• Preferred:
  Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing

• Preferred:
  Previous nursing experience
