Provide basic patient care under the direction and supervision of nursing staff. Perform duties such as taking vitals, bathing, dressing, moving patients, changing linens and other duties within scope of practice as directed. Obtain information on patient condition as requested and report any changes.

• Take vitals.
• Bathe, dress, and move patients.
• Change linens.
• Assist with other patient care duties as assigned.
• Obtain and report patient condition information to nursing staff.

Certified Nurse Assistant Training Program: obtain training in a classroom and clinical learning environment. During clinical rotation perform basic patient care tasks and complete a competency assessment at the end of training.

• Education Preferred:
  High School Diploma or Equivalent.
• Experience Preferred:
  Prior patient care or health‑care related experience.
• Minimum of 3 months experience as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long‑term care setting, EMT, or Surgical Technologist in the past 3 years OR completion of an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past 3 years OR completion of the “fundamentals of nursing” course with clinical in an accredited nursing program or practical nursing education program OR possession of a Missouri CNA License or MO CNA Appendix with the license obtained within 120 days of hire.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong time‑management, analytical/problem‑solving skills and ability to work in a multi‑tasking environment.
• Consistent and timely availability for work.

• BLS must be obtained within 90 days of hire.
• Certified Nurse Assistant / Nurse Assistant license.
