Job Summary

Provide basic patient care under direction of nursing staff. Perform duties such as taking vitals, bathing, dressing, moving patients, and changing linens. Obtain patient condition information as requested by the nursing staff and report any changes in patient condition.

• Take vitals, bathe, dress, move patients, and change linens as needed.
• Obtain information on patient condition when requested by nursing staff or clinical educator.
• Report any changes in patient condition promptly.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Three months of experience as a nursing assistant in an inpatient or long‑term care setting, EMT, surgical technologist, or completion of an Unlicensed Assistive Personnel Program within the past three years.
• Completion of fundamentals of nursing course with clinical in an accredited nursing program or practical nursing education program.
• Or hold a Missouri CNA license (or MO CNA appendix).
• BLS certification obtained within 90 days of hire.
