Phoenix Senior Living is seeking a dedicated Med Tech to support residents in our senior living community. In this healthcare and medical services role, you will safely administer medications, monitor residents for changes in condition, and maintain accurate electronic health records. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, compassionate, and committed to resident-centered care. Responsibilities include documenting care, collaborating with nursing and caregiving staff, ensuring regulatory compliance, and promoting a safe, supportive environment for seniors while upholding high clinical and service standards.

Responsibilities

  • Accurately administer prescribed medications to residents per physician orders and community policies
  • Document medication administration, refusals, and PRN effectiveness in MAR/e
  • MAR systems
  • Monitor residents for side effects, changes in condition, and promptly report concerns to nursing staff
  • Perform basic clinical tasks such as vital signs, blood glucose checks, and simple treatments as delegated
  • Maintain medication carts, storage areas, and records in compliance with regulatory and community standards
  • Support person-centered care by engaging respectfully with residents and families
  • Follow infection control, safety, and fall-prevention protocols to ensure a safe environment
  • Collaborate with nurses, caregivers, and interdisciplinary team to coordinate resident care
  • Participate in shift handoffs, audits, and quality improvement activities
  • Assist with training and mentoring new Med Techs and caregivers as assigned
