Dock Crew - Chateau Marina Job Description
Full-Time, Seasonal Position (Summer and Fall 2026)
Non-Exempt, Hourly Status

The Dock Crew member is responsible for providing personal service to customers at the marina. This includes assisting customers with watercraft rentals, attending to gas dock operations, parking and cleaning rental watercraft, and always keeping the dock safe, orderly, and in a professional state.
Responsibilities- Greet every customer and provide personal and professional service.
- Follow check-out procedures for rental boats, including accessories and life jackets.
- Assist customers in parking boats upon rental return and follow check-in procedures.
- Adhere to customer requests in respectful manner at fuel dock, including fuel and pump-outs.
- Keep the gas hut, storage rooms, and dock in a clean, safe, and orderly manner.
- Complete opening and closing duties per policy and procedure.
- Participate in all training courses (Rentals, Fuel Attendant Training, Fire Safety).
- Complete other duties as assigned by marina managers.
Job Requirements Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each responsibility satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Computer SkillsMust have basic computer skills, with the ability to learn new software in a timely manner;
Point of Sale software experience a plus.
Position requires a minimum of two (2) years High School, or GED. Must complete Boating Safety Certification, if born after 1/1/1984, upon 14 days hire.
ExperienceThis position requires previous work experience in dealing with the public (i.e. customer service) on a daily basis, and treating customers with respect. Previous retail experience preferred.

The employee must regularly lift and /or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
Employee must be able work in outdoor weather conditions.
