Hiring Bonus
This position offers a $500 hiring bonus. The bonus will be paid in two installments: half after 30 days ($250) and half upon successful completion of 6 months of work ($250). Employees must be active and in good standing at the time of each payout to be eligible.

Position SummaryThe Hospitality Assistant provides stewardship for all aspects of serving couples through food service and housekeeping.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Food Service- Prepares meals from predetermined menus for intensives, getaways, and special events.
- Serves, interacts, and is sensitive to the needs of guests and visiting staff.
- Maintains cleanliness of kitchen and interior and exterior areas of the Hospitality Center daily.
- Observes and follows all Health Department Codes.
- Maintains Serv Safe food manager certification at all times.
- Attends and completes Chemical Training.
- Maintains exceptional cleanliness of interior and exterior guest lodging spaces daily and weekly.
- Maintains cleanliness of guest and staff spaces throughout the property, including administrative offices, counseling rooms, bathrooms, and chapel.
- Dusts, vacuums, mops, cleans windows, stocks amenities, launders linens.
- Reports maintenance concerns to General Manager promptly.
- Observes cleaning restrictions due to noise levels.
- Performs laundry as needed.
Physical Requirements
- Must pass a Post Offer Pre‑Hire Physical exam.
- Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and push/pull up to 25 lbs.
- Must be able to bend and reach above head.
- Requires repetitive tasks, good eye‑hand‑foot coordination, and manual dexterity.
- Frequently requires bending, kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
- Some exposure to gases, odors, fumes, cleaning chemicals, bodily waste, dust, and sharp utensils.
- Occasional holiday and weekend work required.
Exemplifies Ephesians 5:1‑2, pursues the Great Commission, maintains a courteous, Christ‑like attitude, adheres to the Standard of Moral Conduct, upholds Focus on the Family ministry in prayer, and engages in Christian ministry.
Knowledge/Experience- High school diploma or equivalent.
- 1‑3 years of experience in food service preparation.
- Must achieve and maintain Serve Safe Certification and Chemical Training Certification.
- Strong customer service and people skills.
- Ability to read, write, and follow written and verbal instructions.
- Flexible in adjusting priorities.
- Ability to work independently with little supervision.
- Ability to work with food preparation equipment, sharp knives, and chemicals.
$14.00 to $15.82 per hour.
