As a Merchandise Team Member, you will work in one of the 60+ unique shops that call Silver Dollar City home. You will provide friendly, outgoing service to our guests and keep the shop clean and stocked properly. But this isn’t your typical job in retail. Sure, we always have souvenirs from our 1880s theme park in stock … but you could also be selling delicious taffy, mouth‑watering cinnamon bread or even custom‑made furniture built by one of our world‑renowned craftsmen!

This position starts 05/18/2026 and ends 08/16/2026.

Must be at least 16 years of age.

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

• Arrive consistently at work and on time.
• Assist guests by answering questions, providing product information, and other related services.
• Stock shelves, counters, and/or tables with merchandise.
• Operate Point of Sale register following cash handling and credit card procedures.
• Ensure proper handling of customer credit card information in compliance with Property Procedures and Purchasing Card Industry (PCI) standards.
• Pick up, remove and record amount of cash in register at beginning and end of shift.
• Wrap and/or bag merchandise for customers.
• Clean shelves, counters, or tables.

One to three months of related experience and/or training required.

• Stand:
  Uneven terrain, inclines, asphalt, and concrete.
• Walk:
  Up/down steps, uneven and sloped surfaces, including to and from assigned employee parking and assigned work area.
• Climb:
  Up/down stairs/ladders, uneven and sloped surfaces.
• Use fingers and hands to handle and feel and reach with hands and arms.
• Speak and hear clearly.
• See:
  Near/far.
