Description

Reports To:

Captain (Store Manager)/First Mate (Assistant Manager)/Second Mate (Management Trainee)

Overview
Responsible for assisting the management team in driving sales through exceptional customer service. Ensures the customer experience, supports our brand promise (“Every Day Should Feel This Good”) and makes service a top priority.

Functions & Responsibilities
  • Generate sales and meet sales goals/measures.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with top customers.
  • Support in‑store event sourcing and execution.
  • Ensure the store reflects the "Every Day Should Feel This Good" vision through event hosting.
  • Lead store email capture and train new associates on best practices.
  • Keep the customer wish list current and notify customers when products arrive.
  • Assist with training new associates and foster a welcoming, fun, encouraging, and energetic crew and customer environment.
  • Help recruit and refer top talent for the store’s teams.
  • Support store and team‑building activities with management.
  • Maintain efficient merchandise controls and loss prevention awareness.
  • Maintain a clean and tidy store environment.
  • Maintain merchandising standards, current compass (floorset), and brand initiatives.
  • Contribute to weekly product feedback.
Requirements

  • Ability to perform effective selling techniques to achieve sales and repeat business.

Physical Requirements
  • Stand and/or move around for extended periods of time.
  • Reach, carry, bend, and occasionally climb ladders.
