Job Summary: The SDC Park Wardrobe Team works behind the scenes to create costumes thatare integral inmaintainingthe theme of our
1880'stheme park. The team works together to prepare, produce, andmaintainhost costumes, with a keen eye on even the smallest details. This role offers a unique opportunity tocreatecostuming, serve our hosts through fitting and alterations, andimpactour guests through influencing all hosts to follow proper costuming guidelines .

Essential Duties and Responsibilities: include the following.

Other duties may be assigned.

• Fabricate and repairvariouscostumes byoperatingsewing machines, sergers, othersewing machinery asneeded,andmakingrepairs by hand.
• Measure, alter, and issue costumes to hostsin a timely manner.
• Assist with customer service needsbyworking atthe front deskusing a computer fordata entryand attending tothe needsof hosts.
• Assist with cleaning and putting awaycostumes using washers and dryers,and electric iron if needed.
• Stock shelves with rolls and bolts of fabric.
• Interact with fellow hosts, leadership,vendors,and suppliers whilemaintaininga positive, team-oriented attitude.
• Keepthework area clean andmaintainthe cleanlinessoftheshop.
• Maintain organization of forms and documents, handle cash,and record information accurately.
• Ensure compliance with all authorized operator requirements and safety procedures specific to the job assignment.
• Follow all Park Wardrobe SOP’s (Standard Operating Procedures).

Required Skills/Abilities:

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to pass pre-employment background check.
• Must be able to successfully pass a sewing test.
• Must have sewing skills and knowledge of using and caring for different machines used in constructing costumes or costume items.
• Must be self-motivated and possess good organizational skills with proficiency in time management.
• Ability to work independently or in a team setting.
• Ability tomaintaina flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

Education/

Experience:

• Must haveoneyearexperienceofsewing,readingpattern instructions,and altering garments.
• Experience in customer service.
• Experience with computers and data input.
