Mechanic Technician

• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs on a wide variety of vehicles, equipment, engines, and mechanical systems.
• Inspect vehicles and equipment, run diagnostics, and identify solutions for electrical and mechanical issues.
• Complete routine service work including oil changes, fluid checks, brake repairs, tire service, and replacement of worn parts.
• Assist Master Mechanics with more complex repairs while continuing to grow your technical skills and hands‑on experience.
• Maintain accurate service records and help keep the shop clean, organized, and safe.

• Be at least 18 years of age.
• At least two(2) years of experience in performing semi-skilled automobile repair and mechnical tasks.
• Possess a valid driver's license and be insurable under the City of Branson's motor vehicle coverage when operating a vehicle as part of the position.
• Be willing to work snow routes that include 12‑hour shifts during the months of November thru March.

The starting hourly wage is $22.13 per hour and will increase to $23.02 per hour after 6 months of successful probation. for a complete compensation/benefits breakdown.

Monday through Friday, 7am to 3:30pm. Some after hours required.

City of Branson Service Garage as well as in and around the City of Branson, Missouri;
This position requires work to be performed onsite.
