We are currently seeking a dedicated Demand Planner to join their team in Brantford, Ontario.

As a Demand Planner, you will manage the end-to-end demand planning process for assigned customers and channels.

Your role involves developing and optimizing SKU-level forecasts to drive profitable growth, ensure revenue targets are met, and improve forecast accuracy and Forecast Value Added (FVA). You will provide data-driven insights to support decision-making across the organization.

Responsibilities
Provide direction to the Supply Chain team regarding capacity plans with suppliers.

Analyze Point of Sales (POS) data, sell-through targets, and margin goals to maximize profitability while limiting RTV and MD exposure.

Collaborate with Sales Leaders, Product Managers, and Supply Chain Managers to develop long-range strategic goals for assigned categories and accounts.

Gain alignment with cross-functional teams to achieve KPIs and develop revenue plans by account and category.

Monitor industry trends and market changes to build and update item-level forecasts.

Participate in meetings to present sales analysis, forecast changes, and recommended actions.

Focus on exceeding metrics including forecast accuracy, customer fill rates, order request dates, and inventory plans.

Build collaborative partnerships with internal stakeholders, customers, and suppliers.

Identify obstacles and implement long-term solutions through standardized processes.

Assist with the coordination of new product projects and provide input on inventory strategies for existing, new, and phase-out products.

Maintain the Anaplan demand planning system and prepare relevant reports for the planning process.

Qualifications
Understanding the difference between demand baseline and demand components.

Knowledge of how demand changes impact service levels, inventory, and capacity.

Legally entitled to work in Canada.

Bachelor’s degree in Business or a related field.

3–5 years of sales forecasting and inventory management experience within a CPG or Retail company.

Advanced ability to gather data, detect trends/outliers, and make decisions based on multiple data points.

Proficiency in metrics such as % variance, turn, WOS, and trend analysis.

Strong knowledge of retail math and the ability to interpret sales/inventory trends.

High-level Excel capabilities; experience with ERP/MRP (JD Edwards preferred) and Demand Planning software (Anaplan preferred).

Positive, solution-focused, and growth-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.

Excellent verbal and written skills including the ability to influence others.

A passion for sports and a drive to succeed is preferred.

Ability to use statistical tools and business intelligence for forecasting.
