As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will play a key role in supporting Wessuc’s operations by sourcing, purchasing, and managing the supply of goods, materials, and services required across the organization. You will leverage supplier relationships, negotiate favourable terms, and ensure timely delivery while balancing cost, quality, and operational needs.

• Source, procure and expedite delivery of goods and, materials, equipment, and services in alignment with operational requirements.
• Research and evaluate suppliers, solicit bids, and negotiate pricing, contracts, and delivery terms to achieve the best value.
• Leverage Wessuc’s buying power to identify cost‑reduction opportunities, reduce lead times, and ensure continuity of supply.
• Prepare, issue, and manage purchase orders while ensuring accuracy and compliance with company policies.
• Develop and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and internal stakeholders to support efficient procurement processes.
• Monitor inventory levels and coordinate purchasing to support business needs and minimize disruption.
• Coordinate logistics, delivery schedules, and resolve issues related to shortages, delays, or quality concerns.

• 3+ years of experience in purchasing, procurement, or supply chain management.
• Strong negotiation and communication skills with the ability to build productive supplier relationships.
• Analytical mindset with the ability to assess cost, quality, risk, and supply market conditions.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Ability to respond to internal customer inquiries and clarify purchasing requirements.
• Proficiency with purchasing systems, ERP software, or related tools is considered an asset.
• Experience in industrial, construction, environmental services, or fleet‑based organizations is an asset.
